FWOP helps a local community increase their daily wage from fifty cents a day per family to $20.00 a day by starting a women's cooperative. FWOP received funding from the Mexican Government for the sewing machines, electricity and training.

a donation of $500 fixed the roof for a couple that were over 80 years old
A low water bridge built by high school students and designed and funded by FWOP
This bridge helped farmers get their crops to market during the rainy season and was funded by a generous donation. The local government had promised to build the bridge for the past 20 years and said it would cost $100,000. FWOP with high school students from a local school built the bridge for less then $2,500.
